New School Experience

New School Experience

I went to a new school when I was in 7th grade and I didn’t know anyone at my new school and didn’t know where my classes were. Before school started there was someone that helped me get around and showed me where my classes were. After the person showed me around I went to my classes and there was girl named Katie that I meet and we both introduced each other to get to know each other.
After class, we had a break in between classes and we talked more and I realized when talking to her that she is friendly, nice, and everyday and I had one more class to go to before it was lunchtime. Every class I went to I meet new people and there was a lot of people that helped me get around when I got lost in the school or going to my classes.
When it was lunchtime I would go sit by Katie and have lunch with her and while we were having lunch there was people that were sitting with us at the table. We all introduced each other and then starting conversations about funny stuff. Having lunch with whole much of new people was fun because I like meeting new people and it a good change for me to find new friends.
When being a new student in a new school I found out that there are people out there that care and help other people out when they are lost. I thought it was easy to find new friends to be with. I found a lot of people to have lunch with when being a new student at a new school. Katie was one of my best friends that i meet when i went to the new school and I meet new friends also and I will talk about the other friends later throughout the blog. I am so glad that all the people I meet I have become closer to them since the day I met them.

  1. It is nice to hear good things about finding friends at a new school, usually you only hear about the horror stories that can sometimes happen. I myself have never experienced being "the new kid" because I went to the same school district my whole life.
